cash is king...

After being lucky enough to score a 5D Mark II way earlier than I should have, I figured it would be much wiser to sell it than keep it. There are plenty of people in this world much more anxious than me to have that beauty ASAP, so why not make a couple bucks...or 500?

Yep, I bought it for $3500 and sold it two days later for $4000, cash. That just feels good. The sell was a bit sketchy though. Just picture me looking as big and mean as possible counting out $4K cash in the back of a stranger's BMW just off of Broadway in New York City at night...two guys in the front of the car smoking up a storm and telling me that they will buy any electronics I have for cash. To make it better, I didn't have to count out four thousand dollars in hundreds, no they wanted to make things fun, I had to count twenties!

So there I was, counting out 200 twenty dollar bills in a dim lit BMW at night. Thankfully, Linda had my back and prepped for the worst as she waited with the "goods" until I gave her the signal. Yeah, it was an adventure. I like the look of cash under the tree though.


Best part of all, I lucked out and got another Mark II from Best Buy and can do it all again. :)
